It's really hard to break peeing habits. Our sweet neighbor (83) has a chihuahua cross that she gave up on and now just puts 'puddle pads' every where. It's kinda gross, and she could probably get the dog to stop, but she's not very mobile or alert enough to the dog's behavior to do much about it.Ya know my nice new flooring?
Turns out the dog (not mine, spouse's) is peeing on it CONSTANTLY... in just one spot area.
I told spouse... your dog, you take care of it.... (as in get the dog to no longer pee in the house... or figure out something to save the new floor... )
At first spouse said nope, it wasn't the dog... I was overwatering the rubber tree... took me DAYS to convince spouse that I was NOT, it was the dog.
Spouse is still doing a POOR job at making sure the dog doesn't pee on the floor....
I think the floor is starting to show signs of damage...

I will give it a good scrub in the morning and see...
I am thinking to perfectly clean and dry the floor... then tarp that entire area...with a huge tarp....
Might work.
