Ya know my nice new flooring?

Turns out the dog (not mine, spouse's) is peeing on it CONSTANTLY... in just one spot area.

I told spouse... your dog, you take care of it.... (as in get the dog to no longer pee in the house... or figure out something to save the new floor... )

At first spouse said nope, it wasn't the dog... I was overwatering the rubber tree... took me DAYS to convince spouse that I was NOT, it was the dog.



Spouse is still doing a POOR job at making sure the dog doesn't pee on the floor....

I think the floor is starting to show signs of damage...



I will give it a good scrub in the morning and see...

I am thinking to perfectly clean and dry the floor... then tarp that entire area...with a huge tarp....

Might work.

It's really hard to break peeing habits. Our sweet neighbor (83) has a chihuahua cross that she gave up on and now just puts 'puddle pads' every where. It's kinda gross, and she could probably get the dog to stop, but she's not very mobile or alert enough to the dog's behavior to do much about it.

well maybe cure everything for a few brief moments. If you settle for that. Counted out my change and YES, have enough for Sam's Club hot dog special. Doesn't get better than that

Used to sprinkle some cayenne pepper in areas I didn't want the dog or neighbors cat to use as a toilet. A sniff or two and they didn't want to use that area. Of course when it was windy or rainy or whatever had to retreat often. But Dollar Tree has the biggest bottles of condiments for $ 1.00

I love my 7 pro

ctl+alt+del still works on my updated 10 machine. I would be in trouble if it didn't.

Happy Monday a.m. fellow pond skaters.
A pretty "crispy" week ahead but at least no new snow for several days. It's actually really pretty outside. We got several inches of the sparkly fluffy stuff ontop of the wet heavy stuff so everything looks like one of those perfect fake hollywood Christmas scenes with all the trees heavy with perfectly round blobs on the blanches and everything else piled high. Very Christmasy.

Morning pond sitting waiting for the doc. Feel like times is wasting.

How longs the recovery for that kind of surgery?

DD is living in Catanooga finly got some work with amazon part time.She is not going to be able to help me. Just a week of not getting it wet. Ben has to have a bath every morning.Wifes new job won't let her take off .No PTO now.
Also there is no guarantee the surgery will work .

I agree. How does recovery affect your care for Ben? Will you need to look into some sort of long term or residential care for him?

Well when we started all this with the bleeding ulcers and dizzy spells . We had started trying to get Ben in a group home.With the center where he is.Thought it was all set and it could not be done.We are asking for respit
care .that is taking for ever. All we own is our farm .Even if we sold it the money would not keep Ben up for very long.We have to turn him over to the
State I just can't do that I just can't . Breaks my heart knowing at some point it has to happen.And there is no one that can do what I do for him.So I cry tears of great sadness for my Ben.Because I know it will hurt him when it happens. BUT I GOT GOOD NEWS NO SURGERY NOW
doctor says my nerve is floating there are sighns of improvement .So he dosen't recommend it now .if it worsens call for an appoint.

I will not let them update my computer .Wife made that mistake and it really messed hers up. If the upgrade was downloaded you can take it off .Friend of mine told me years ago take control of my computer .No auto down loading and installing up grades .And if you don't like what an up grade has done remove the up grade. Took me a week to convence wife of that .

the closet thing we have is cotton fields along the highway going to town. Every time i go by them I start singing white christmas porky pig version of corse.
