Kid 2 said we could all wear matching bone necklaces and handmade Bowie knives...

Then spouse suggested we all buy ghillie suits...

I thought the red hoodies was a better choice .... except for the potential sister and bride crying.... I dont do well with all of that drama.

But gillie suits!!! Can you imagine the outrage?


Nope... no pond hopping... down in Texas, but the wedding is Romanian style.

Good afternoon Pondies. Much cooler here, after the storm blew through last night. It was around 70 yesterday! I actually got to sit on the back porch to watch tv, and the ducks and chickens in the yard. Down to 45 now, so I think I’ll stay cuddled up inside today.

I had to giggle at your "down to 45" when I was rejoicing that it got "up to" 15 here today. Tomorrow we could see 20!! Then it bottoms out to below zero at the end of the week.

And different family groups wearing the same colors???

Good Evening, Pond! I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was OK, but I broke a tooth today so I have to call the dentist tomorrow morning. I hate going to the dentist! I mean, my dentist is great and I like him as a person, but I have super senstive teeth, and it's torture even getting them cleaned. This will be a crown for sure.

I don't remember if I've mentioned it or not, but I have good news. DS3 and family (grandson and baby granddaughter) are planning on moving back to the area! They want to live in town, and DS can work with the ambulance service here. I am over the moon! They have realized the value of family support and are hoping that we will be willing to watch the kids now and then. They are also talking about gardening with us in the summer. We'll see how that goes. Anyway, I just had to share that. I am super excited.

Now it's off to bed for me so I'm not cranky with my student tomorrow. We're going grocery shopping in the morning, so that should be interesting. (We cook on Wednesday morning, and need supplies.)

nah! And if your talking about west texas thats a whole day far, But if your talking about East tx... im only 4 hours from tx. The grounds all flat or indented so travel goes pretty fast
