Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Finally some good medical news from this end:
Chemo treatments are over, for now, anyway. Oncologist said yesterday that everything is looking so good that we can cancel the last treatment, which I'd normally be on the way to right now. Also took one of the five daily meds away.

Essentially going into "wait & see" mode, coupled with different scans & checks regularly. He said he wants to leave the port in, which doesn't make me happy, cause it itches & looks hideous, but I guess I can live with it. There had been talk of regular "maintenance" every couple of weeks, which I guess would've been a continuation of wearing the bag of meds on my side for 48 hours following every treatment...not that different from what I've put up with all along.

I want to thank all of you who've come along on this journey with me for all the thoughts, encouragement, and prayers. They've helped; keep 'em coming.

Was 51 today! Now a snowstorm is on its way. Yep, Utah weather for ya.

Welcome to the Pond lady! :hugs

We’re supposed to hit 65 today! With a low tonight of 52!!! February has been our worst month for snow in the past few years. But I’ll take this for sure. It’s putting me in a hatching mood. :D

Good morning Pondies. Have a lovely day.

And would somebody dry off Sour’s lily pad please? I think someone spilled something on it during the super bowl. I hope the puppies weren’t over there. :old

It took me a while to find mine. I tend to leave it all over the place, but I took some precautions to keep other people from drinking out of it....

Sour & Whites, even on Mother Nature’s craziest day we’d never have a white Easter here. To bad too because I would love to get those white plastic eggs & hide them in the snow. (Dang footprints would probably give my hiding spots away though.)

Turk.. Wow girl!!! You need a vacation! I’d be tearing my hair out. I remember once or twice hiding in the bathroom to get a solid 60 seconds by myself, but the littles would find me in 10seconds flat. I remember them & the dog all pounding & scratching on the door wanting in & me trying not to imagine I was living in a zombie movie. Good luck with a month of birthdays! :hugs
