Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Hi fellow Gemini
Yep we are an Orbit of projects on going.... I am June 9 1955... Born in the year of the Goat if you follow the Chinese Calendar..

Probably why I fell so in love with goats when I got them. I cant wait till I can house them properly and have them again. NO mor eating of the house paint... or siding or bark off trees.

Or greet me when I come home because they figured out how to make their own doors.

Attitude is 90% of the game .I wondered what your input on signs would be. Uncle Stanley worked at Vandenburg .He worked on the rockets ,that launched the Capsules into space.Never finished High school . He was brilliant and when you speak of your dad it reminds me of him.
Yep Yep and Yep. Dad did finish high school... But he had no time for anything else he was too busy building things. Making things better.

Fantastic to hear you so cheerful !!!
Thank you.... I finished cleaning the living room about two hours ago. broke down all the boxes and got My stuff organized to pack. There is a whole line of clothes in piles in the hall that I still have to sort and pack or donate.

I even am doing jewelry kits... for myself. This way I wll have the stones and the notes and wire handy. Found my Silver filled wire.... The core is copper. I want to do a project with the silver and a very nice stone that is delicate. I bought half hard like I ususally do with copper not thinking. Silver filled makes the wire harder. So I am going to have to use the tools more. Because bending it with your fingers is problematic. Weaving should be OK... but I usually finish with the filigree with my fingers.

So we will see how it goes. I have to dig up my tools as well. been meaning to for some time. To pack I have duplicates so doing a work kit should be simple.

Today is a 'hurting' day for me also. Shoulders, wrists/hands, lower back, neck --------- went out and bought a box of Valentine's day candy for the Princess, spent a bit more than an hour at the club and worked one dog, cooked supper - that's a lazy day for me.
What's for supper??? :drool

Has this chat slowed? I’ve been gone awhile...had some big life changes at the time not really wanted but it was for the best I heartbreakingly had to give up my chickens and ducks I was able to keep my dog and cockatiel Girl dog/ Baby and Andy so that was definitely a plus lol I’d live in my truck before I gave them up ...and I stayed away from here was just a bit too sad...but I’m in a better place once again stable and springs right around the corner ...in the market for another incubator wasn’t able to take one I had before..or I may just purchase some chicks idk yet but I’ll miss incubating ...probably not gonna do ducks this year have to get a chicken coop and run built first...don’t have a huge country acres 18+ in the city now on a somewhat small lot but still on the river so another plus..as I like to kayak ,camp and all that..so everything has to be smaller scale this time...plus I’ll need a brand new garden first year gardens ugg..thinking maybe a chicken tractor so I can move it around which could also benefit my garden at end of season..anyways not sure if any of ya remember me but I’d pop in here time to time as well as a few other of the chat threads...but I’m back and just wanted to say hello!!

Hi @penny1960 !!! It sure is good to be back!! I seen y’all were talking about supper..my bf made supper tonight he never cooks ...tacos.and beans ..they were horrible 😂😂😂 I still love him tho ...but I’m definitely the cook in the relationship...tho we see about his building skills he has a coop and run to build...he does have experience he says not in coops but houses and whatnot and builds bridges for a living so what’s a little coop right?? thinking of doing the coop contest but it be a bit before it begins Ohio here and it’s cold and yucky...hoping to have chicks anytime either bought or incubated and set by the next few weeks or so ..logically I should purchase as I’m in city (somewhat) and pretty sure Roosters are a no tho I do know people who have them in town.. and as I only want about 6/8 birds I could only have one Roo..but I’m so going to miss incubating... and I got the fever baaddd
