Eh... it is for my cholesterol....

Supposedly white bread products increase the bad and decrease the good cholesterol.

And my good cholesterol keeps going down, the bad keeps going up.

I am supposed to stop eating junk food and eat more salads.

I HAVE been increasing my salads...but still.... maybe I need 2 salads a day, without any croutons! :barnie
 
@Alaskan What brand drill/tools did you end up getting for the kid? (Kid 3, was it?)

I have 2 12-volt batteries for my Ryobi. One of the batteries doesn’t hold charge very well anymore, so I mentioned it to hubby. Ryobi now has a nice line of stuff that all take the same 18-bolt battery, but I like the reduced weight of the 12. So when he went to Home Depot today, he says there is almost nothing in 12-volt! He did end up buying a new drill, that came with a battery and charger, plus it’s an upgraded version with a work-light on the drill itself, where mine didn’t have one. The price was just a few dollars more for the whole drill+, than for just the battery and charger!

But I know at some point I will have to upgrade. I love Dewalt, but hate the expense, so I was wondering what you ended up with, and how well he likes it now.

Try eating oatmeal for breakfast a few times a week .I like whole wheat bread.Or potatoes give them up or cut back . Also Walnuts are a good source of omega 3 oils. I can't eat nuts or seeds .I love ham and swiss on rye.But I have diverticulosis .And small seeds give me fits .Hard when strawberries are my favorite fruit.

A beer or mixed drink or glass of wine will increase good cholesterol. If you go that route then it's a good ideal to check yeast levels in your body.

Thanks for the tips... luckily seeds are fine for me... so I picked up a bunch of fancy granola.

It is however SO expensive up here... 9 bucks for a little bag.

But whatever.... better than getting a stroke or dementia.. so rah, rah.

I would love to have a glass of booze a day... but I think I have developed a bit of an allergy to some alchohol. So eh... maybe not.

I am going to increase my seed and healthy bread intake, lots more garlic, and more walking.

Hopefully that will do it.
 
Morning Pond!
My first batch of chicks should hatch this weekend. I've made no plans Saturday so I can just sit in front of the incubator. :pop
And, I have my first broody of the season, so I gave her two Bielefelder eggs - even though they're pretty terrible layers, they're such huge and beautiful birds I want to keep a few around.
