Morning Pond!
My first batch of chicks should hatch this weekend. I've made no plans Saturday so I can just sit in front of the incubator.
And, I have my first broody of the season, so I gave her two Bielefelder eggs - even though they're pretty terrible layers, they're such huge and beautiful birds I want to keep a few around.View attachment 2049640

Morning Pondites yes just 11:30 here having a home made English muffin scrambled egg and sharp cheddar on top and toast the muffin .. have my coops cleaned silkie are in their tractor our world is right .. We are dealing with Dr that changed BF's med he is diabetic since he was 30 now 73 instead of loose stool low blood sugar almost daily this in not cool

This years ash fly invasion has turned into a snail invasion. The smell of billions of smashed snails in the rain is truly vile.

The neighbor who rents the house next to me asked, "Whats with this street? We don't get bugs, we get invasions of biblical proportions." DH & I just said, "Yep. Exactly. Get used to it."

I'm starting to not be super fond of them either. Even the birds are sick of escargot.

We had them horrible in Shelton found a few here last summer boy talk about exterminate

Two weeks ago the neighbors GF was trying to save the snails from being run over. She was picking them up one by one & throwing them back into the field. Fast forward 2wks & I bet shes having nightmares & aiming for them with her car.
