Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

:gig
I have 2 chickens 2 (hopefully) new chicks, 1 dog, 1 cat and 1 horse...
right now I have three chickens and one horse. When I move home part of the remodel going on will be a secure fence so I can keep Goats again. Loved my little Reprobates. But I couldn't do proper fencing for them so they got into all sorts of things..... :gig

I also plan on getting my 110 gallon Aquarium set up so I can raise Tilapia.

And will be getting a couple or three doggies. A ratter, Jack Russel rescue. A human and livestock guardian Dog and another so they can tag team the dangerous stuff. Bob cat mountain lion and humans.

Dont want them to hurt humans but I do want them to alert me of their presence.

Oh and I want Guinea Fowl again. They are walking watch dogs all by themselves. Cant do cats. LOng story.

I have a little more than 18 acres but the compound I want to make will be about three maybe four acres. Horse has a 100 x 75 foot paddock with a 24 x 24 sun shade. next to the gate I have a 40 food shipping container that holds my Harness and Cart. If I get help to hitch her up I can hitch her right in the cross ties. The roads are awesome for Carriage driving.

All nice flat dirt no or very few rocks. you can drive all the way out to the Mexican border and follow the Border Patrol Road next to the fence. I havent done it yet but I would love to. The cart I have has Car Tires on it and is Built by the Amish. VERY sturdy. but Very heavy so thats why i need help hitching up. It has a place on the back to hitch up farm implements if I wanted to.

My girl is big. 17.1 hands and around 2000 pounds. A smallish Percheron. So she could handle a far heavier vehicle If I chose to purchase a Wagonette.

This is the one that I wanted when I first started training her.

I used to ride an Appy her name was Baby doll about that tall. You put Katee up against the Big guys and she looks like a morgan.

When I was showing I met an online friend and she invited me to her house. They had just got a team of Wheelers for their hitch. Wheelers is the job they do. Both were Percherons and stood 20 hands each. Youngsters too about three or four years old.

Cathy told me that because they were Amish trained they didnt show affection. LOL... I went up to the gate to see them and both Ambled over and dropped their heads for Skritches. Beautiful boys. And at that age they would be monsters by the time they were seasoned pros. Probably took a Seven or Eight inch wide bit...

Oh and for what its worth Wheelers are the two horses whos job is to turn the Wagon and help stop it.

oh wow. Do you ever do ridden work with yours?

Good morning Pond.

How many here wear the masks .. I am asking we do it protects us .. there are those that do not.. We give them a wider berth

We wear masks when away from home. I do not wear a mask at the club - no one else is there most of the time. NJ has been good (surprisingly) and cases are down dramatically, but now there are incidences of sheer stupidity arising. Lifeguards having parties on the Jersey shore has resulted in a breakout as has a 700 person party in a rented mansion and a several hundred person graduation. Our governor was pissed yesterday - calls such folks 'jackasses'.
