Not any more. But I used to ride dressage. For 50 years I rode trail Jumped a teeny bit but the dressage was for self improvement. My dressage instructor taught me how to drive so I could work with one of her mares for a few months. Then she taught me how to re instruct her because the mare had been abused and needed her confidence back.

I only got to hang around the Big hitch people because they are so helpful and generous with their time. Got me started with the proper equipment and I got to see first hand how freaking hard they worked. We got to show Katee in a few classes the first year. Only because my Dressage Trainer wanted to take her in. I was on crutches at the time. She won enough money to pay for the entry fees and stabling. It was awesome experience.

I have ridden Katee about ten times and once on trail. Shes a very good girl. But my Accident that messed up my knee put me in fear of working with horses from the ground.... alone.

Once I am in the saddle or On the Vehicle I have no fear... sigh.

As luck would have it. IT rained again . Waited until my chicken feed was paid for . Couldn't wake up to rain. Had to wait till just the most inopportune time . If I'd not been taught god loves all his children , I'd be worried he was out to get me . I have dealt with everything from a severely sprained ankle.DD to DIL telling son she wants a devoice . I find out after it is all but finalized .And my poor son saying when I took my vows before God I meant it . It is all so bazar. And without a doubt one of the most selfish acts I have ever seen .What do I say and do, nothing but wait it out . I know my grandkids are going to be affected the most .DW is so depressed it is all we think about latey.

Seriously? This is a thread about everything - for many it is our HOME. Politics is where you choose to interject it. Please don't stir what doesn't need to be stirred or someone will have to clean the Pond filters.

I hear Florida got plenty .Pythons out this time of year. But them logger head snapping turtles is meaner ,than a python .I heard they don"t let go till there is thunder . I tell you them fire ants is nasty little critters.At least python make good boot leather . Dd wants me to bring in the kittens,got a go

K, I am so sorry to hear about your son and DIL. What do you say and do? Keep loving and supporting him and his kids. Don’t run their momma down in front of them. (That’s one thing I give my mom credit for - she never said a bad word about my dad to me after their divorce, and she could have said plenty). It’s so hard to see our kids hurting and not be able to fix it.
