I too am thinking about you Al. I’m guessing the wedding is tomorrow. I’m hoping things will blow over rather than blow up. Either way, Team Pond is behind you.![]()
Eeeeew.Hello, Pond!
Happy Friday! It’s been a good but busy week. I’ve been getting some canning done. DH may have solved the mystery of my missing chickens. (Four adult hens and two pullets throughout the summer. They have been on lockdown for a week now.) When he went out to the shop today, he noticed a “big old” GHO sitting on a branch near the coops. I don’t know if he’s the culprit or not, but the birds will stay locked up for a while now that I know they have his attention.
Step-dad kept a couple of pheasants in a corn crib for a few years until one came in through the top...Eeeeew.
One of those got into my coop once, crawled in through a pop door, and ate a few headsYep, only the heads.
In 2020, what the heck IS normal?!?!?!?Normal is abnormal.
