I dunno Alaskan, do you really want to sunbathe? Pretty easy to get skin cancer. Tanning places are just as bad.

freezing in the basement while I type 69 F, too cold. Of course once I change out of bed clothes and put real clothes on, should feel better. But FALL has certainly taken over .
Not the usual kindly fall weather.

It’s only 54F here now, early afternoon. October weather rollercoaster. Good news is tomorrow morning deer hunting will be better than 80 degrees last weekend.

It has been super rainy blah for 2 weeks up here...

My solar panels are up, but the wires aren't connected since the electrician refuses to connect the wires in the rain.

I was planning to get a video of one little call duck hen, she was prancing around quacking her head off. By the time I started recording, they all started blabbering.

Raised the thermostat on the Pond heater.

STOP THAT! I can barely walk outside without simultaneously melting & then being burnt to a crisp.

sorry to hear that Alaskan, electricians are so fussy about rain. Last man I went out with had been an electrician (till he really got shocked,) and had also been a a helicopter mechanic in Viet Nam. Ended up driving a cab. 6'7" (256 lbs) and afraid of plenty of things, like walking on ice. Okay so am I but, I was always afraid he'd fall in my direction and flatten me.
