Ducks sound more like laughing, either way I can see that could drive people deaf in a short time.

I was planning to get a video of one little call duck hen, she was prancing around quacking her head off. By the time I started recording, they all started blabbering.

They sound like they are laughing!

Not to be a total downer, but I’m going to have to put one of my dogs down soon. I know I’ve been building myself up for this all year, but now I think he’s ready. I looked up the place that usually comes out here. Because of covid they are handling all appointments outside only.... Outside... In 102* weather. This dog barely goes outside at all. Lately he’s mostly carried in/out to do his business. He’s not going to be comfortable anywhere out there. How the am I supposed to do this? If she would come in like they used to do, he probably wouldn’t even know she was here. This makes a sucky situation even suckier.

... The last time we needed them to come out here was for our dog Miss Money Penny. She loved being outdoors. We’d have to practically drag her in at night from her favorite spot out there. When the time was right, the sweetest woman showed up to help her on her way. Money never even knew she was here. As the woman was doing her thing, the whole flock of chickens paraded by. She said, “it’s so nice that she can pass on this beautiful day, next to her favorite tree, in her favorite spot, with her... CHICKENS????”

That was quite the tension breaker.

One day I came home from work, hubby had been home all day, they were quacking like that. He said they had been doing it all day! When I’m home, they are mostly quiet. they normally only sound off when they get separated.
