Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

So Sour, what will you & the Princess do for Thanksgiving without the family around? Will you still celebrate, will there still be pie?

Do Boston Markets still exist anywhere?

Boston Market has fallen victim to the pandemic.

I'm making a turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet corn. At least the house will smell like Thanksgiving. The Princess asked, "What will we do with all the turkey?" I said, "Make lots of turkey soup." She hates my turkey or chicken soup.

About kids walking in on you - son sleep walked in on us = libido crash.

I believe that my simple/basic stuffing is the best, and I have the return customers to prove that fact. Well, maybe not this year. :(
Mine is cornbread dressing.

Simmer for about 10 hours loads of celery, onions, herbs, turkey neck and most giblets.

Homemade cornbread made with a bunch of butter.

Dice up meat from stock, fish out mushy celery and onion, add all to crumbled up cornbread with seasonings (lots of sage, some thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper)

Add a cup or so of drippings from currently roasting turkey..

Add 3 eggs, mix up with the other stuff... keep adding broth, drippings, and/or melted butter until you reach super moist but not dripping wet.

Gently spoon into buttered casserole dish, cook until heated through.

Yep, mine is better.
