Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Well my SIL decided we were living like barbarians the last 4mos without a Keurig & sent us one. I’ll be honest, I’m never gonna be able to transition back to it. I tried 3 different brands of coffee in there this morning (including my normal one) & they all were undrinkable. I finally gave up & made a cup in my beloved, faithful French press. I guess she can use it the next time she visits.
We're on our 2nd Keurig in as many months, & it'll soon be returned.

Good Morning Pond!
There’s frost on the pumpkin and my lily pad this morning. Brrr! But the sun is up and it’s shaping up to be a beautiful day. Phone company called, and they figured out that they “probably need to come take a look at the equipment - we have some alarms going off here”. No kidding. DH told them not times when he called this weekend that it was their equipment.... Oh well, at least someone is coming.

Don't forget, vote early and often! :lau
Heck apparently you don't even have to vote in this state. Some kinda person in Detroit will do it for you. Heck they will even choose for you so you don't have to get stressed about it. What a forward thinking state we have....lol....hahaha..

My wife had a Keurig.... my gf uses it now. I hope that's not morbid. But I figure why waste it. I like my fresh ground beans and vacuum pot myself.
Coffee stays fresh. My biggest quirk is that no matter how hot the coffee is i always nuke it anyways before I drink it...... yeah straight out of the pot.... into the microwave.

Coming up on the 1 year anniversary of my wife's suicide. I still won't sleep in that bedroom. Bobbies 6 year old daughter sleeps there now. She loves the water bed.

"What recipe" ? That's the same one that I use. 'Al' could take stuffing lessons from us. :lau
:plbb notice I didn't tell ya to add a cup of this and a cup of that....

Took me ages to recipe it up... wanted to be able to make sure the kids got it right.

Good Afternoon Pond -
I found out this morning that I have had an exposure to Covid (8 days ago!) I am now officially grounded until Friday. I told DH that I need to move into the basement. He disagrees. I will at the very least sleep down there, and spend a lot of time down there. Just the other day I was having a rough day and told him I needed a time out. He said, “I bet you’ll have a mandatory one within the next two weeks.” He was right.
Eeeeeeewwww

Well,keep us updated..

Feeling sick yet? Usually (so I hear) 5 days after exposure is when you get symptoms.

Our son, living in Racine Co., has been off work all week, self-quarantining to be sure he doesn't carry the virus in here when he gets here Thanksgiving evening for our two week gun season.

I got a decent doe with my crossbow on Wednesday.
Good news on both counts!
