Yeah, 'specially when they're up to something they really don't want to be public knowlege!

Also because our neighbors aren't fencing in their poultry, they'll be drawing predators into the neighborhood. Once that restaurant is emptied (or they do a little fence work) they'll head to us.

BTW, we tried to meet them. We went over to tell them we were doing the electric fence and that we'd have to cut some of their vegetation that was growing on our fence line. We went at 10 AM a couple days after Christmas. Their 9 year old answered the door and no parents came out. The 9 year old - very adult like - said, "Do whatever you need to do, we don't care." So we talked to him for a while about their birds, predators, etc - still no parents - and told him to be sure to tell his folks that we'd be in their back yard that day chainsawing. We were in their yard for over an hour. No one came out to even see what we were doing -except the guinea hens. Odd.

Maybe the parents were at work? I started staying home by myself about that age.

Here in NJ it is following last year's pattern. All but one major storm have been either to the North or South of us.
