Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Well, the 5-month old Delaware Broiler that did not go to the grow-out pen with the others will be joining them tonight. He went after my 2-year old granddaughter today. She was holding my hand, just walking down the driveway with me. I turned to look at grandson, heard him flapping and saw him posturing toward her. It was just the kids and me, so he’s loose for the moment, but will be picked off the roost tonight and locked up. Hopefully one of Broody Betty’s little Darwins is a cockerel and will live to adulthood so I can have fertile eggs from my own hens next year…

I'm okay thank you Ladies-Eight. How about you?
I recently started doing woodwork again after a few months off while I got myself at least partially sorted out in the UK.
I don't have anything particulalry exciting to show yet. The last lamp I made was for someone I know and it wasn't anything unusual; nice but not what I would choose to make.
But, after being asked by some, moaned at by others, and beaten about the head by my daughter, I have built a website which shows most of my work and is meant primarily as a bit of fun. This is the link.

Loved the website, most especially the chicken endorsement! :love

I picked her up immediately and tried chasing him away, and he kept circling around toward me. He sealed his fate.
I am happy I had good boys around Duckling. They were as big as her, and she collected eggs alone. I never thought about danger while she was in the coop alone.
This is the first child-aggressive one I’ve had in a long time.
