I’m very seriously considering investing in a washboard & crank wringer. We’ve got too much going on here to go days without a washer.

Mountain, how’s everybody feeling? Did you get to do your Christmas performance?

We're getting there. We did not manage to do the Christmas music. My throat was screaming and DS was in no way up to it yet. Thankfully, they had a backup plan. I'm not sure what it was but I'm sure it worked out fine. DS is still recovering. Today is his last day of the steroids that he was prescribed but he still has a few more days of antibiotics. He can sing again but he lost a lot of muscle mass over the past couple weeks. Getting back in shape for swim team is going to be extremely difficult for him. I still sound froggy but the blisters in my throat are pretty much gone and it doesn't really hurt any more. I still have a very annoying nagging cough. DH is good and started his new job yesterday. DD has been back to normal for well over a week now with just a minor cough left.

It's mid 40's and rainy here. It seems like so many of you have snow right now. The little bit that we got the other day is already completely melted away leaving a muddy, soppy, wet mess behind.

Scratch & dent #2 works if I do very small loads. The daily animal towels are going to be a problem & so will blankets, even tho it has settings for both those things.

Wow! That’s sounds really horrible! Glad you guys are getting better. Did DS’s pathologist say anything about ‘super flu from hell?’
