Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good Monday morning pond. I'm not looking forward to another Monday but I guess they're necessary to get to Friday. This weekend, DD accidentally discovered a wasp nest while trying to swat a mosquito. She missed the mosquito but hit the steps and a swarm of wasps flew out. She got away but lucky me, I got stung twice :/ One is pretty well cleared up by the sting on my leg looks like I was pelted with a softball and is SO itchy! This happened Saturday by the way and I'm just hoping that it starts to go away soon lol

I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT!!! :wee
It took the RRRRRRRRREEEAAALLLYYYY low and slow approach BUT, I was able to merge my 4 Cinnamon Queen (sexlink RR/SLW cross) 18 wk old pullets into the main group containing my two abnormally HUGE 6 mo. old Orpingtons and my senior girls and there was no bloodshed! :thumbsup I really didn't think it possible and I feared someone (s) might have to be rehomed because the "babies" had accidentally gotten into the big girls' area a few weeks ago and it wasn't pretty. No one was seriously injured but only because I happened to be close by at the time so I wasn't hopeful. Still need to be separated if treats are involved because my top hen, a senior GLW can be VERY food aggressive otherwise the two groups are just giving each other distance and the grownups quickly figured out the "babies" can now easily outrun them. :jumpy Especially the "bullies", my two huge Orps. Watching them run is hilarious!!! :lau
