It’s been a good day here on the prairie. Started out my day by canning 17 pints of green beans. Then found out a neighbor had a bunch of egg cartons to get rid of, so I brought her 4 dozen eggs as a thank you for the cartons. Came home with two nice stacks of egg cartons, three soft-ball sized onions, a dozen cucumbers, and some overgrown garden good for my chickens. I think I came out ahead on that deal… She said she’d love to buy eggs from me, and I told her I’d love to sell her some unless she’d like to trade for garden goods again.
