Kid 2 accidentally set the flower bed at a taco bell on fire (the mulch)... in Anchorage... a bottle of water didn't put it out... they had to tell the people working there to grab a hose.....

I too was a horrid child... and a truly amazingly unsafe teen/young adult...

Still not sure how I hit 30 mostly unscathed!

Kid was there with a friend... it is REALLY hot and dry in Anchorage at the moment... friend dropped a lighter on the mulch... the sun did that cool magnification/concentration of sun rays thing with the see through lighter body... and this started the mulch to smoldering.

My kid poured his entire water bottle on the smoldering mulch. However, with the dryness and heat it didn't help.

So... a hose was needed.

Hey, Pond, my body is winning. 95% of 'normal' today.

I ended up picking up three clearance baby onesies for Pixel to wear to keep her from her incision. So far this has been successful, and then when she's in her crate and I'm not directly watching her, she also wears her donut.

Normally, no one ever walks by when I take her out for potty breaks. Ever.

But now, when she is literally wearing a baby onesie, it seems like the whole town has to walk by my house while I have her out there. I have to wonder what these people think about the woman with her dog that she dresses in baby onesies. Lol.
