Our so worked at the Johnson library/archives for several years and we got a chance to visit the hill country - neat place.

One year ago today, I was in Texas. Loved the hill country.

hill country is awesome.

I like most of the Texas geography.......

sunsets on the bay

to palo duro canyon

the topography of west Texas.

to the flat lushness of our coastal plains

our east Texas Piney woods

to our oak motts

from our swamps

to our blue bonnets

pasture land

to our desert like deep south Texas

Nice pics TK. WV has areas that look like those. Except the bay would have to be a lake, and not many areas as flat as those plains!

Noticed you left out the other parts of West Texas (which looks exactly like SouthEast NM, LOL). Only so much you can say about a zillion miles of cotton fields and oil rigs. We have relatives in Lubbock.

Absolutely loved the Johnson Texas White House tour. Such a time warp with all the rotary phones, 60s appliances, even Lady Bird's clothes in the closet. It's great to see everything preserved so well, and the property is gorgeous.

Palo Duro canyon is high on our list of places to see, and of course the blue bonnets in Spring. It's great we live so much closer than we used to, opens up more country within driving distance.

Wind turbines?

There's quite a few near Rockport. My mom lives in Harlingen.

howdy Walnut........yes Texas has huge fields of wind turbines too. we get lots of coastal winds, as well as lots of winds around the northern part of the state. it's unreal how many are wind turbine farms are up there.

Talked to her and the manager at our main hub... gotta use approved boxes for chicks too... check out horizon, premier one and jeffers, those are some suppliers... and talk to your PO about best time for dropping them off for shipping...

glad the ot doc listened and it went good, even though it hurt
ours is a top loader he washer, hate it, but it has a dry well it pumps into luckily so it doesn't contribute to my septic field

Leia doesn't have extra toes and her mom had single comb... the one's daddy is most likely Silkie, the other could still be either or...
