99F - cinders on my lily pad - the blacktop is melting

It's 88F here. I'm off work today and hiding in the AC. This heat and humidity is a killer lately but hardly any rain in the past couple weeks. The grass is all turning brown everywhere and we saw a reservoir the other day that was looking quite low. It's supposedly supposed to rain tomorrow.... we'll see

They said we might have 90 today on my lily pad.

We're heading to 104 today but get some relief starting tomorrow with temps in the lower 90's and upper 80's for a week and rain chances daily. I'll take it.

I intend to butcher one bird today she has been a pain since she got here.
Hatchery barred just a pain 2 now so she will not change.
Make dog food of her.
I have 9 birds in the little coop growing up 2 more pullets still at banty so lot's to lay in her place.
