It's just bad in the sense that it is a laxative and will give them extra wet, higher expolsive poops than a duck can do normally... considering the impressive nature that they're already capable of, it depends on if you want to risk that while holding said duck in your lap while treating their feet... capiche?

Giving some epsom salt water to drink is actually a recommendation for constipation in ducks... and to help pass any possible toxins quickly... VERY quickly...
