Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Ohiki... gonna get you hooked on another tiny bantam, lol...

Trying to figure out her color???

Ask jophus ??

And I already love and want them. It's the long tails that I'm not sure about. And I'd have to give up Simon to have them...so I'm resisting... for now.

Ok , fatter...:/. Had a great Thanksgiving. All the kids were back home for the weekend! Here's our new birds:

He's gorgeous!

Too stupid to know they are dead, I think.

I have seen a few porkies go out on a limb, literally, turn around and chew the branch off.  When it falls they go with it.

:lau

Sure you can, they are easy to acquire. I've even got a bunch of them cooking right now. :bun

I'm so up and down with them. So bad when they flaunt them, and I know you are gonna kill me with them too. But I also dread building a pen for them. And I'll be scared to leave them outside. :/

Don't have and can't afford a covered run. Right now, them free-ranging them would be no problem, but I have off and on stray dog issues. I refuse to get an animal if I cannot care for it properly....

Scared to leave them outside? Just keep them in your pockets, no need for a new pen. In hoping to beat you over the head with ducky pics :fl

I do already have their pool figured out, and placement. Just have to design some housing. I'm sure I'll have them eventually. Too cute not to. :D

Are they LF? What's there history?

Are they LF? What's there history?

Yes, light LF. Named after the Campine region of Belgium. Ancestors can be traced back to the time of Julius Caesar who brought some back to Rome. They are quite uncommon with only a few breeders in the US. They have a European cousin, the Brakel who is a bit larger. Good flyers and foragers. Very curious, enjoy humans but don't like to be handled. I got these from Wisher1000.
