Yeah; condensation can cause bacterial growth on the eggs. I believe the issue is that when washed, the water is warmer than the egg, but condensation is colder..... No reason not to set em tho, would be nice to see hatch rates

What is the thing about eggs sweating after being gathered cold? Mine were very cold by the time I got home tonite. I brought them in, and some sweated, but weren't broken. I marked them. May experiment with incubating them lol

Expansion and contracting from the warm to cold to warm... condensation *could* get sucked into the egg introducing bacteria inside...

Just keep a nose out for stinkers...
