I do if they are penned birds I know won't encounter a predator. If they are free ranged I just take the tip off

She's a sweetie pie. I went to take those pics and she was shivering in the cold. I stuck her inside my jacket and hugged her for a few minutes.

we could do that. I'm not sure I want to keep any more brown boys. Got enough to pick from now.

Those were from my 2013 hatch sfh rooster. Sweet boy, couldn't breed because of those. I do finally decided he had to lost them or it was a waste of time for him to even be in the breeding pen.
