So...hubby went to their warehouse today, where they store stuff for their nursing homes. Beds, wheel chairs, etc. He saw a heated serving cart, like you see in hospitals, that they bring the food trays around in. They are temp controlled. Like 5' tall, 2' x 2' square, shelves inside, on wheels. It's not being used, so the heater may be out, but it's insulated, sealed, can heat up to 200 degrees, and some have humidity controls. (not sure if this one does or not). He thought it would make a great brooder, because of the big glass door. But I'm thinking cabinet bator!

Might take another week to get it, he didn't have room in his truck. But I'll do something with it, one way or another!!

So interesting note, my guinea eggs day 23 haven't started drawdown yet (or haven't gotten very far anyway) but following in the the footsteps of the last batch my 7 duck eggs day 22) have started drawdown, go figure. Looks like my duck eggs are right on Schedule with the first ones. Oh and it looks like I have two quitters on the guineas. :/

Sounds like an interesting prospect. Guess you can hatch, brood and cook 'em with it - that could be a new "all-in-one" chicken machine
