Yes, just 3 out of a dozen. Only a couple were clear, the others quit up to the first week. Not sure what happened to them.
Morning folks.
I got some blue eggs developing. Air cells are maybe w little saddled, but they are cooking.
what's hatching?
I've got three externals on call duck eggs out of four. The 4th one is internal
In chickenkeeping, I mean... Plenty used to accidents in other respects of life, lol.
Can't tell it apart from the other of the same colour.

It is such a good thing I keep the eggs in a cabinet for incubating.
I pulled the three Serama eggs into the Eco 20 hatcher around midnight, and then spent an hour staring at their amazing tininess, hoping a chick would hatch while I watched. Since hatch isn't due for a couple of days yet, that did not happen. The two smaller eggs are no larger than a robin egg. The larger is around the size of a quail egg. The two smaller ones were loose in the quail tray and I had to pad them.
There will be lots of pictures. I feel like the first person to have ever attempted to hatch them. Crossing my big clumsy fingers for their tiny, fragile success!

you know you miss those giant bells!![]()
Always hated them. I can remember pics of me wearing them as a kid. Ugh....
My problem is I'm kinda small, so shopping in the juniors departments fits my size/shape better than the women's sections.
I'm too old for the young gals stuff, but too young for the old lady stuff.![]()
