Exactly. Agree with everything Walnut advised. Watch for "yawning". If it's making a yawning motion, it's still absorbing. Wait for chirping before going too far.

Ok. I can't really see if it's yawning or not, the pip is too small. It is peeping though.

Yes, I meant if you start chipping shell off later.

And remember, it could zip just fine on its own.

That's what I was thinking. I will though honestly this hatch has been crazy weird so far. :/ out of nine eggs five have pipped so far, four pipped on Tuesday (day 28) one widened its pip and just died Three hatched today, day 30, then there's the pip in the small end. I don't know why they're so late, the temp was at 100 to 101F Thanks, I'm gonna need it.
