The kids opened my pool today

And this duckling opened it's egg... What a lovely day..

Sweet! I neglected to wash the pond scum off my feet and tracked it into our pool. Still trying to vacuum all the sludge out....

Hubby is home safe too. It wasn't someone shooting in his building, but someone driving around town. Supposedly 3 people shot, at last report, and one was just a couple of blocks from his building, which I suppose is why the authorities notified them. But he made it out and home.

He said it was funny how the folks that do know that he carries a pistol at all times were following him around.

Whenever life gets me down which is more often than most people think . I simply open the treasure chest of my best memories and pull out one that makes me smile. And when I can no longer remember those memories then I won't remember to be sad either so it will all balance out .
