Fact is they were a slightly different sort of folks. I threatened a couple and will be going back to bug them. I can accept being territorial, but just stay away from where we were. Basically we created our own environment in their house.

Well, said, Sour... and I understand how it messed with what they were used to... flooding recent posts with chicken and chat stuff during kidding season, but the one that really got me was the one WV quoted... he doesn't use any social media whatsoever and only uses the internet to research, learn, ask pertinent questions, etc, so how dare all we BYCers invade and chat up the place??? That was the attitude that got under my skin...

I replied to one such thread and reminded them that we were keeping to our own sections and threads. The response was that they couldn't use the recent posts like they used to so it wasn't okay :/

I'm liking parts of this new platform and disliking others. I don't like that we seem to have lost the Unanswered threads area. If they could do something like "New Threads" like they do for new posts it might be okay but it doesn't look like that's a thing right now. Also not a fan that the header chases me down the page when I scroll. I really don't like that and don't see a way to turn it off. It must be something they specifically did here too because it doesn't do that at BYH.

I do like a lot of the other changes too though so I guess it's a give and take. The Unanswered threads section being gone though is a big loss for me. That's how I used to find threads that needed answers. Now I'll have to go through each section individually and I don't really like that.

Well I'll just have to look that one up won't I? You on a phone ? it doesn't do that on my PC.

It'll be ok Rav it's just an ID on a website we or most of us know your name . We'll figure this thing out and all will be well Most important is we is all here . In touch and reachable

Someone already brought up the unanswered posts thing so I chimed in on that thread that I'd like to see that too. I might bring up the header thing but that was likely a purposeful design choice and I doubt that will be something that gets turned off. Luckily I should be able to block it using Ublock on my home computer, at least.

Did you ask to change your name and they said no?

Busy day here, got some charts done and then mowed the lawns. Nice, because I got my exercise in.

Now I'm trying to design a business card for DH and a flyer to pass out at the garden tour. (I volunteered to be a "charming person" at one of the gardens. Better have a few drinks first. )
