The Dragon got off the nest, i swear she was crying. I don't think she found the food i left for her. She was running around the yard making all kinds of noise. So i gave her another bowl of food. She ate, drank, and pretend for a while and i snuck in to check the eggs. removed 4 quitters, but left 6 that look good. A couple with internal pips.

Fingers crossed! I'm worried i may have lost one of the goslings. But the other, the one with the internal pip seem to be hanging in there.

This is like when we gave the blue eggs to the city couple and he wanted to know if they weren't ripe yet . I would tell people at the flea market that yesterday when they would ask why the eggs were blue.

Yeah last night was all about Smores and fireworks with the grandkids....i got quite a load of fireworks for $40 .
Lot of rockets...... gonna take Masson back today get some M80's and blow some stuff up.

I remember when we droped them in paint buckets filled with water and it would blow the side out of the bucket.

Finished the lawn. Beautiful evening for baseball. It cooled down to around 80 F. Grandson pitched, and leadoff batter hit a triple. He eventually scored and then for three innings it was 3 or 4 up and 3 or 4 out. Then the opposing pitcher weakened and GS team started hitting. They won 11 to 1. Game # 4 is at 2:15 today. It was added fun because oldest grandson was there along with daughter and SIL. He had never seen this team play and was impressed by their skill. These kids are skilled, and mentally tough. They never panic or compound the occasional error. When the opposing team fell apart, some of the kids got a bit ugly. "Pa, they were swearing at us. Our coach would bench us for that."

I also remember when sportsmanship and knowledge of the game were the first things a coach taught his players . And parents backed them up . Discipline starts at the roots of the tree. You did good and as well as those before you Sour

I was there once, ages ago... I encourage you to avoid NJ at all costs. As I was dying in front of the AC I was informed temperatures hitting 90 were "normal" in the summer. There ain't nothing normal about temperatures above 90 anywhere except in ovens.
