My thoughts on this, Dan, since a couple looked liked they passed a while ago was extended contamination for the live ones... honestly, I think you were lucky to get 3 live... just my 2 cents...


Stupid errors yesterday kept me off, then I went to my friends house to do deworming and despurring again, ~130 birds dosed and 3 boys despurred... repeat next Thurs... not like I need more work, but can't help to help plus the $ coming in is needed....
Got up with migraine today, it flattened me out for most of the day... at least it didn't go for the full 24hrs it normally does...

Hope all is well with everyone, neighbors came back and fhere goes my ducks... flockin fireworks!

I sure do know migraines! I'm glad it's gotten better. Any idea what may have set it off?

Thanks! I had to buy some ice cube trays to freeze the KMR (laced with heavy cream) that it eats in because it only lasts three days in the refrigerator. Or, actually, ice stick trays, because apparently that's what everyone needs. There were no regular ice cube trays in the whole store

Oh well, it'll work.

Ive had my little injured turkey in a cat crate today, it's done well, but I think it was getting lonely, it's currently napping in my lap, again. Can you "spoil" a turkey?:/

Baby turkeys are so sweet. I hope it makes a full recovery! But, if it was for eating, will you be able to eat it now? Lol.

Baby turkeys are so sweet. I hope it makes a full recovery! But, if it was for eating, will you be able to eat it now? Lol.

Well, I have 4 at the moment, don't know if they're hens or Tom's yet. Any excess toms will go to freezer camp. So yes, if he's an extra Tom but unfortunately not the best for breeding purposes, we will have turkey dinner.
