It's been a somewhat eventful day. DH and I are in Alaska, on the Kenai Peninsula. We're staying in Soldotna, but decided to drive to Homer today (about 1 1/2 hours away). On the way there, we came this close to hitting a black bear that ran in front of our pickup. Close enough that we checked for bear hair in the bumper. If there had been oncoming traffic we'd have had grilled bear.how's your day been?

Probably. Janet and Lucy are good moms. Janet actually had twins this spring, first time mom and last year was a drought year, we didn't see rain from April till late August and then it was sparse. Unfortunately Eclipse's twin didn't make it.
