You are lucky to have good mommas, it's unfortunate the twin didn't make it, it's always sad but a reality, you can only do so much, but always try n do what you know and do it well!...Lol, now who's rambling!!!

I know, though I have my sister to thank for that. She can pick out some awesome goats (but then it goes to her head ) Yeah, we gave Comet, that was her name, our very best shot at helping her but we missed the signs and like I said before, when they go down they go down fast. See what happened was Janet had to have them in the pig pen (go figure) so before Comet was fully dry or up and drinking we had to move them and my sister is guessing we messed them up and we're not even sure Comet ever nursed. Ah well, we'll pay more attention next time.

Haha, yep! Luckily it should only be a day or two and I also have chicks hatching to distract me.

It's all part of the learning, and y'all both have good to add, she has a good eye, that's very important, you seem to have a sense for husbandry and herd management, let your work prove it and she'll come to recognize it and y'all can do well!

She does have a good eye. Mom and dad won't even buy goats anymore unless she gives the ok. I think she is already, she's been asking me a lot of questions recently. I'm her number one it seems.
