Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Not the best, eh? But what ya faffing with eggs at this time o' night for - mad as a hatter, gal :D

I never pack the eggs until after they're sold and PayPal clears, etc... and I always pack them in the middle of the night, Shade takes them to the PO first thing in morn when he goes to work... :p

Morning folks...just got home from work. There's no way I'm catching up, so hope I didn't miss anything.

mostly just goats and drakes dangling penises :D

Wow... I dropped the eggs I just sold on an auction... :th
Yup... first time ever... I hope so... gave them the option of refund or wait for more eggs... I was going to move some birds around, so that will have to wait a bit now... :(

Holy smokes, that bites. :hugs

Well, you've started us off on a good note, this morning with mention of that kinda wildlife :D

Morning, WV and everyone :frow

:D good evening to you. Took me so long to catch up, now its time to run again. will check back in on a break sometime today. Hopefully. :frow

It doesn't happen often, as far as I know, but they can breed as early as two months old. I had a sannen that was 4 months old when my buck broke into her stall in the middle of the night. She did well delivering twins and was a great mom and good milker, but it did stunt her growth a bit. Just something to keep in mind.:)
I used to keep my bucks in a place called the OK corral because there were so many boards and branches nailed to trees, over top of cattle panels, plus a hot wire. Those males can be very persistent.
I will. I'll likely talk it over with my sister who'll probably say something like "They'll wean them when they're ready" and brush it off to the side because she knows everything about goats
You could build a small enclosure of t posts and cattle panels and put a small 4x4 shelter in there. I had one i used for a quarantine/ sick pen. And i had one to put goats in that were sold so i didn't have to catch them later.
