I used to keep my bucks in a place called the OK corral because there were so many boards and branches nailed to trees, over top of cattle panels, plus a hot wire. Those males can be very persistent.

You could build a small enclosure of t posts and cattle panels and put a small 4x4 shelter in there. I had one i used for a quarantine/ sick pen. And i had one to put goats in that were sold so i didn't have to catch them later.

That they can be.

We already used all the cattle panels and T posts on the farrowing pens

Went out to check on Prissy one last time before leaving for work, spotted another empty shell under her! I know I gave her 7 eggs (marked them all, removed any that got added along the way) thought I had removed 2 clears, but I guess it was only 1 clear, since I've found 6 hatched shells! She hasn't gotten up yet, so I'll get some better pics this evening.

I couldn't help but think of all the little penises laying around Ravyn's yard, if drakes actually lost them yearly, so I just had to comment on that other thread.

I'm fine with spiders if they stay outside and away from me! I realise how many other bugs they eliminate so I try to coexist. . but if they are on me or in the house I'm killing them.
Them drakes are just crazy! Hope it's just teenage hormones. . . I was about to just give them my shoes and run for it! Lol

Evening all! I'm back from my beach trip! We decided to come home tonight instead of sleeping and then driving home in the morning. I had fun taking pictures.

It's been a somewhat eventful day. DH and I are in Alaska, on the Kenai Peninsula. We're staying in Soldotna, but decided to drive to Homer today (about 1 1/2 hours away). On the way there, we came this close to hitting a black bear that ran in front of our pickup. Close enough that we checked for bear hair in the bumper. If there had been oncoming traffic we'd have had grilled bear.

How are you and yours? Everyone healthy now?

WOW... You were right IN @Alaskan territory.... I believe he lives in Homer. Hes here on the pond occasionally.

And I had a cousin that lived in Homer for about thirty years.... She Was a fabulous Scrimsaw artist... KNife handles gun handles pendants and what not.
