I was looking for an emoji for scratching my head.

I got hubby to help hook up my new sink/table out by the pens. (RK had them on sale for $30!). Plus i blew all the leaves off the netting and roofs today, put some leaves in the pens for the chicks to mill around in, then took a dinner break. I went back out right at dark to grab the eggs i had collected thru the day. Grabbed a few tools we had left out. The wind started howling!! The last set of birds out ran for their pen as i was collecting 13 eggs from a nest Phoebe and Malibu made. (finally spotted Malibu on it today, sneaky little boogers). Had those eggs in my shirt tail as the rain came pissing down. Ran to close the last chicken pen, and by the time i slowly ran across the yard, with the eggs in my shirt, I was totally drenched.

it got me too.... I was hustling to bring in the last load of towels hanging out.

Saw a Duluth Trading ad this afternoon with a herd of angry beavers try to destroy their products. Guess who I thought about.

I just lost my little runt call duckling. She looked so weak last night, but survived the night. Was a little perkier today, so i put her in the brooder with the others. She just never got her little webs under her.

I stuck and egg in my jacket pocket the other day and forgot about it till I threw my jacket on the table and heard smack!
Luckily it didn't break

For what its worth This morning we woke up to 45 degrees.... This after noon it was 95 degrees..... thirty degrees.... makes it hard to "adjust"

Hi girl. Just been trying to keep myself busy actually accomplishing things around this place. About to get it all caught up except for a 12x25 or so out building that collapsed in on itself that I need to tear down. Don't know how safe that's gonna be.
