Yes! They went home yesterday afternoon. I'm going to see her today.

They're great, but they can be finicky, lol. I kind of wonder why he didn't consider that himself. if I had a starving snake that only ate a certain kind of eggs and I couldn't find the eggs, my thought would be to get the birds that lay the eggs, lol. Take out the middleman.

Well sometimes the obvious isn't so obvious to everyone. I didn't think of it.
(Althought i suspect i would, if i were in the situation)

I always liked reptiles, but never owned any. The finch pairs was a great idea for that OP.

Not a big fan here...something about growing up in the Sierras where the timber rattlers were gigantic may have informed my predisposition to steer clear.

I hope you all have a lovely day. I have an extra teenager in the house. (DD has one of her friends over...actually, come to think of it, she's pretty much had friends over the entire holiday weekend - can you say extrovert?!?!) So, time to get some breakfast going before the crew out back needs attention. I may have to start, in good Monty Python fashion, beginning each morning (with my birds), "Bring out your dead!!" Too morbid?
