Haha - no. I have four EEs who only lay eggs on the third and seventh Tuesday of each month... oh, there are not seven Tuesdays in a month... well then...

That's funny right there.
I'm getting 2-6 eggs a day, I forgot how many laying age I have. Seramas have all stopped as well as the OEGBs. I have one new cochin pullet laying every few days, chocolates are giving me the most eggs, even with 4 less hens. i got 1 call egg today.

Yeah, for some reason, this has been a particularly dry patch for the eggsters. Let's see, yesterday I got 9 total - from hmm... 60 or so layers - and 4 of those eggs came from the 55 pen!
You know, I kind of "took stock" today (being Thanksgiving week and all), and as much as I might worry and complain, I still have a lot of very nice birds. They charm me with their antics and amaze me with their varietal beauty. They have been a gateway for acquiring multitudes of information (mostly useful), in addition to being small bundles of mystery that keep my curiosity piqued!
I'm thankful to have the little critters out back.
And, I'm thankful for you all too... each as unique, yet somehow, much smarter, than my chickens.

Not yet..Well at least not that I know...I haven't been back to the post office since Thursday, and no one else has been to town since then either..

Didn't get back to posting earlier but I vote Keep your ducks wv and just see what happens. Like the others said you can always change your mind later and take them to the farm in the spring.

As for capital punishment. . . I think we would have less crime if we went back to the old days of hanging in the street.
I do believe there should be a fair trial and proven guilty without a reasonable doubt. And I do think mental illness should be taken into consideration. . but trouble is who gets to determine who is mentally ill and who is just evil?
I hate to think about those who are actually innocent being put to death but if it were me I would rather be put to death than spend my life in prison anyway.
What irks me the most is even in places where they have capital punishment the people sit on death row for So long using up more tax money that a regular inmate. . . might as well have just given them life in the first place.
