Eggs hardboiled and peeled for deviled eggs.... check

Dressing normally cooked in the oven is going in the crock pot. I did that last year and it was wonderful

Turks thaw'in soon as I can get the giblets out am going to start the stock.

I am doing things in batches because my energy is like money in a piggy bank... and I have enough for about an hours worht of time at a time.

reorganizing my wire station to free up the dining table... thats going to be the big task tomorrow.

I looked it up. Eurasian and ring neck aren’t the same, but ringneck don’t do well in the wild. Might as well just put them down now as turn them loose and let them starve.
Maybe that's what happened around here. . we have tons of ring neck doves. . well I think they are called collared doves. But we live close to two grain elevators so they ain't starving. When I feed birds in my yard tons of them show up.

I don't remember seeing them in town growing up. Its just been the last few years they've become thick.
 
Holy heck someone in my local bird club on FB is threatening to dump 100 ringneck doves into the wild to fend for themselves if they're not gone by Thanksgiving. I may end up with a pair or two of doves, oy.
I raised doves for a while - they're actually pretty personable (although there are exceptions of course). We had some hatch out - very good memories.

I think that’s a Eurasian collared dove, and they are an invasive species. And spreading very quickly.
