I looked it up. Eurasian and ring neck aren’t the same, but ringneck don’t do well in the wild. Might as well just put them down now as turn them loose and let them starve.

I raised doves for a while - they're actually pretty personable (although there are exceptions of course). We had some hatch out - very good memories.Holy heck someone in my local bird club on FB is threatening to dump 100 ringneck doves into the wild to fend for themselves if they're not gone by Thanksgiving. I may end up with a pair or two of doves, oy.
