Didn't get to go. Came home and my hen Cocoa was worse. Decided tonight was the night to put her down.

Won't fix it but at least you know we love you and feel your pain . I have never in my life seen any animal as hard to get well as a chicken. But maybe they all contracted it and the others developed immunities to what ever it is .

Hope i have as much success as Rav and Oz come Friday - lockdown tomorrow. Found another potential source of araucana chicks - just need some cash. Actually, DW works for a bank...

for your hatch. I take it there's no market for monkeys or mongoose .

This was one of the 4 that was given to me back in May, I think. 2 chocolates, the other is fine and raising the littles. One lavender is now at camp with my other flock, and the black went there too. It's gonna happen something blows in or is carried in by wild birds and we lose chickens every once in awhile Week before last two hens in two different pens started walking wobbly and I figured them for dead soon. they wobbled for a week didn't go in at dark . I didn't do anything to them they are both fine now one is back to laying

. You had them to long to say your flock infected them with something . I treat wounds and for worms but some disease's need to run their course.

My chickens are slowing down thank goodness I'm running out of room again .
