Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

the oxine is $39.95 for a gallon +$10 shipping-I think if you buy it the other stuff will ship quicker and cheaper!
The baytril treats everything! The silver will heal any kind of wound (including human wounds and burns-I used my cats when I burnt myself lol) and the oxine helps prevent and stop the spread of infections and clean the air in coops-a little goes a long way. I know this stuff isn't cheap but it is a lot cheaper than if you have to find a chicken vet!

Not sure I trust a listing that can't use spellcheck.

They are at all the big shows. Sometimes they have sales and it's the same price as to what my vet gives it to me for. Checked with him-he says they are legit. Ps I have nightshits.... do you trust me

Thanks meltel. I will do some ordering later today. Down side is we leave Friday to go out of town for the Holidays and my critter sitter is not versed in chicken doseing and I doubt it will arrive before we leave.

What, if anything, can I be doing for them ntil the stuff gets here and we get back?

In regards to serama color, for apa/aba only white is approved for cage now. got this from one of the big dogs...
Yup
Just whites
blacks are in process correct?
[COLOR=4B4F56]Blacks and exchequer are the next to be approved

The Cajun Classic is the big SCNA meet, thats where they are doing qualifying for different colors to be accepted by the APA/ABA.

plan on going there next year with some cash :yesss:

Thanks Kathy! I've always just used the tabs but may invest in some of the liquid! @Puddin Fluff Bleach out all the waterers and rinse them really good. My breeder also adds a tiny amount of bleach to her oxine spray to mist the air. Just make sure the area is ventilated and I would only use maybe a teaspoon per gallon-none in the drinking water. Can any of the places Kathy suggested express ship? Otherwise quarantine the symptomatic ones if you can. I bet the critter sitter would feel more comfortable adding a liquid to water than popping pills to birds.

Cheapest I found for Oxine, including shipping charges, was on Amazon... Baytril, I get the Enrofloxacin 10%... best price I found for that was on the mexi-cali site... but it takes longer to get...

Have you gotten it through the mexi-cali site before, Kathy?

Btw, I'm not convinced it's an actual respiratory issue you are dealing with, PF... if there's no runny noses, discharge, then that might not be actual sneezes... what I thought sounded like sneezes in mine were actually coughs... any excessive gaping, neck stretching, crop adjusting going on??
