I slept a little. Apparently he didn't, but the good nurses took care of that. The spasms have started, but the meds are working. He's in very good spirits, wants me to bring him breakfast and some of my good coffee

Not too shabby, thanks although I have a strong feeling the day could end with "gravity" (i.e. my brain's perception thereof) playing tricks on me
