So its finally the Friday before Christmas weekend. What does everyone have planned for the next few days??

we are getting out of work early today then picking up my daughter from daycare. we are going home to clean and wrap presents, tomorrow we are making cookies and then going to her great grammy's house for dinner and presents. Somewhere along the way i need to make monkey bread for Christmas morning

Christmas morning we will have her open her stocking then go to her cousins to open presents there, then back home to open her presents then drive to many houses to open more presents and eat food, drink and be 'merry'
at no point in time will she have time to play with anything she receives, she will just be thrown back into the car to drive somewhere else and rush out of there

This was the year my husband said we could "stay home all day", but we are doing the same thing we do every year

I dont like Christmas or many of the holidays

Christmas this evening with the nurse daughter and her husband since she has to work Christmas. Christmas tomorrow with in-laws. I'm working Christmas morning for a few hours so a young officer can be with his littles Christmas morning. Then church and Christmas with the family. I'm partied out! I'm ready for quiet time! Oh, but after Christmas I don't go back to work til 2017!

Doing pretty well, thanks. Pain management at this point. Hoping to go home shortly!

Awww don't ya just hate all the running! It's a shame that we have turned into this.

We may have started something new this year by doing the gift and family day a week early. One less place to go, and most can just stay home for the actual day now.

Making some candy/cookies today. Headed "over the river and through the woods to Grandmother house we go" tomorrow and will stay for a few days. Christmas Eve we all open a gag gift and Christmas Morning is the big gift exchange. Day after Christmas Mom and I will do some after Christmas shopping for bargains. Come home on Tuesday and get caught up on all the chores that I skipped while we were gone.

its how my Christmases have always been, with my parents divorced, but my husband keeps telling me 'this year we're not going anywhere' and then we still have to drive all over creation
