Mine started out in the same one Lucy! Awesome modification you did!!
I Had ducks on the bottom and chicks and a turkey on top! Made a horizontal divider so the ones on top could come outside. I still use the coop as a grower coop for my baby chicks. :yiipchick

The ducks got their own little house today

had to modify a few things since it was technically a chicken coop, so far the transition has been smooth

Made a ramp for them by removing the rungs and screwing in card board on the back and then used grip tape for traction, they LOVE playing on this!!

Well there are 3 Orloffs in the freezer, which leaves me still 2 chickens over my limit. Close enough for now.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Just put a rack of ribs on the smoker, found some beautiful baby greens at the co-op, and have a bottle wine ready. Nice.

Ohiki is tiny. I put her and 2 of the self blues in with the lone silver duckwing that hatched last week. The monster LOs were already running over that tiny baby. I'm surprised it survived the week!

Still awaiting the arrival on one more silver duckwing. The last 2 eggs quit. But this little group will be fun to raise.

I met several chick breeds at TSC. The friendliest, by far, were...see if I can get this right...silver laced wyandottes. If that's correct, I just impressed myself since I know very little about chickens. Anywho, you've had that breed in the past, right? Do you still?

No Wyandottes for me, the silver laced are gorgeous. We had a "pond" member, SideWing, that bred some beautiful ones, but I can't think of anyone else here with them, although someone probably does. K might have some.

I miss SideWing too.

Maybe your are thinking of silver duckwing OEGBs? I think WV has some of those.
