Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good morning everyone I'm alive after my last infusion I felt so bad I was sure this was the end, but I pushed through so y'all are stuck with me a little longer :)
And we're SO GLAD! :)
It's always darkest just before the dawn. Hang in there!
Definitely true..
I don't think I have ever been what one would consider normal I perfer perfectly imperfect :)
That'll girl! Your perfect to us! :)
So it's eyelid opens but either there's not an actual eye there or it's really gunky.

Standing on 1 leg when you are this big takes mad skill :) I didn't have any feed with me so I wasn't even worth a hello from Huey...

Pretty boy!
I'll back you up Chris, just hacking back ivy at the moment.
Friday, out r ivy might just be generic old ivy but, it grows crazy wild! We literally hack it back each summer, it gets so out of control! Cool but, then it starts creeping it's way in through one corner of our kitchen window! Not cool! lol
are you going to flush it? (i mean the eye not the ling)
:lau
I can!

Yikes!!
Ok, I'm caught up. Hatch update...7 out, one zipped completely and then died! I waited too long to cut it open. It didn't have much of an egg tooth. :/ But the good news is that I have finally hatched another black/split to lav. First since my original set of them, over 2 years ago! :jumpy
Awesome news! Pretty little baby, I'm sure!

Awe...Lucy, that's a beautiful picture!
Spent the morning cleaning up the forgotten area by my laundry room door. This is the second year I've been working on the ivy to get it flat against the fence. Looks a lot better, but I'm tired.

Oh geezs, response is somewhere above, in the wrong place...
I swear, I just need to give the flock up! Sneezed last night and threw my neck out, how joyful... made packing up birds to auction fun... get there and I dump a box of Call drakes... they took their freedom seriously...
Rav!! That's terrible! I'm sorry, at least it was boys....

its a carved bear, but the real ones are coming out now
they tore my coop aprt a couple times last year and destroyed all my birds

Lol, I thought so at first!
Girl that's terrible!! I'm so sorry! So scary, what're do u live??? I'd be so afraid of the bears...
I've had a reoccurring nightmare for years of a grizzly bear attacking me! I couldn't handle it! Good thing I live in central KS! :gig

Central NH, just black bears but they sure are a nuisance
the one that got my coop was also killing pigs and piglets at a farm a little ways away

Gives a whole new meaning to "what was that noise outside?" Dies hot wire, electric fence phase them?
maybe if they stick their nose/tongue on it
i have it for my horse and put it around my coop, but i think the wolf urine worked better

ETA, my friend has bees and uses hotwire coated with bacon fat to help with bears

I've been out cleaning too. Crap around the coops that I don't need now, trying to organize. My back is gonna be angry.
We also got the beds built for the veggie plants. Hope to plant those tomorrow.
