Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good morning pond peeps, looks like I missed a lot yesterday
Had to take one of my calls Julie bird to the vet which I was extremely hesitant to do after the vet down the road from me charged me $115.00 for eye drops and a small bottle of antibiotics for Huey.
My pride still hurts from getting yelled at in front of Ravyn by my step son for that one. Anyway, found a farm vet who charged me 40 dollars to treat Jb , left with antibiotic, steroids, and treatment for lice because apparently all my ducks have lice. I'm taking Huey this morning and he said he would only charge me 15 dollars a foot. I'm so mad at myself and the vet at goose Creek pet hospital for over charging me to date I have pain almost 300.00 dollars for treating my ducks. I also learned that it's never good to give injections to a duckling around their neck and back which he did to Audree when he gave her antibiotic and steroids plus fluids. The farm vet showed me and specifically said only injected shots around their legs around the skin. Lesson learned for me and my wallet :(
Taking Huey this morning and hoping for the best.
I'm extremely worn out and seriously need the bumble foot and lice to go away so we can all get better...

I have slept for 10 hours straight and I'm still tired, I feel Terry that Ravyn was so under the weather from helping me :(
I'm forever grateful for her just hated to read she was so worn out..she's the definition of loyal that's for sure..

that's great . Mine has all but retired

Your stepson doesn't understand the concept of pets. I'm a farmer and have a problem with wasting money on live stock . But people and their pets I understand . If DD's cat sneezes it's off to the vet . My dog got root canals after the horse kicked it . I loved that dog we all did .

supposed to be 77 today, but 50 over the weekend lol
Brrr...still too chilly!

That's IT !!!!!!!!

Batteries aren't cheap anymore Glad that was all it was . Rainy day over there???? Keep your top up

Yeah, this rain is ridiculous. We're supposed to get anywhere from 4 to 6 inches of rain by end of weekend. Just what we need with a leaking basement.

Ravyn has a lot of birds and it takes a long time to care for them all . Add the hatchlings to that and the hill it's a lot of work .

And to make time for helping you just shows what a kind and caring person she is . You would do the same for her .I gotta get to feeding
