The ducklings are enjoying all the puddles. They are getting closer to China every day!

Oh, the clean up, did you see Bantys, Walnuts and my posts? They are gone now.

I have never been successful at moving a duck's nest.

I have... did a double broody nest the other day... used a snowshovel and scooped both nests together, Willow insisted on going along for the ride too!

Good news... I think I have one pea egg with an internal pip! This is good news because I've managed to kill most of them this year.

I can recommend someone who has 100 % hatches.

Just brought in the 4 eggs from under Joan, and all 4 seem to be developing well! Nice strong veins and a lava lamp blob moving around. Looked at them closer, and 1 egg is from my Legbar and 1 from my EE. I think the other 2 are halfloff eggs. Hoping they are all half blue wheaten ameraucana and should be blondish, but if the chicks come out black, I'll know that Buzzard was getting some action.
