Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

They produce eggs, but then the eggs are hatched inside them and the young are birthed live. There are some snakes that do that too, and seahorses, along with other insects.
:thumbsup ah got cha. Guess I could have googled and saved ya the trouble. Thanks! I almost failed biology in high school because I refused to do a bug collection lol. Luckily the teacher liked me and let me write an essay to make up some credit. Now that I could do lol.

You already post elsewhere.

Honestly, it takes a special kind of person to dive into the muck here like you have. We've had some that get a little something on their nose, turn tail and run. But you've stuck around long enough to understand, it's all in fun. :hugs
Yes it is well most of it anyway

No room in this kitchen or i would have one. Believe me.
Look in the mirror check out you automatic dish washer :lau

At least one of those you can similarly do after dark
Which one

I am on break , union rules. Can't do laundry at night, it would never dry. But i am going to go try to haul a sheet of plywood out of the pile and drag it up here.:plbb
So I'm guessing you started wearing cloths :hit:lau

:smackdont even think about it!!!!
:hugs:hugs
That's right beat them into submission ;)

No point in beating around the bush is there?
The direct approach is always best isn't it .

Well, that depends.

People who know me know that I don't sugarcoat things. I have to admit that yesterday was the first that I have been called 'demeaning'.
Have to say I never really thought of you as a definition. So what zackly is you demeaning of

You is asking more of him than he is capable of doing . :lau

Yeah, but you've been called worse :lau
I would hope so that ain't much of an insult is it .

Don't worry, I'm hitting the hay soon :)
You up yet . time to hit the gin ;)

Yeah, i have a tendency to be blunt. Sometimes people don't really want your opinion, they just want to hear their own opinion approved.
Gotta go drag plywood.
We really prefer sharp to blunt .Just so you know everybody entitled to my opinion . Well I jess got to know was it with or without

I know but old age is getting the better of me :old
I bet it's something a lot younger :lauDon't you drink gin as soon as it comes out the still :lau

I'm still trying to figure out how to get them from the link to my posts....:he
I saw later you already had the answer :thumbsup

Our dogs don't clean, but it sure is convenient to blame the mess on them! :D

Does fudge count as chocolate or is fudge a category all by itself?

Hope Chris appreciates you gave him an easy one! ;)

Side note, can anyone else not use the 'existing attachments' function when uploading pictures? I can click on them but it does nothing at all.
I haven't even tried doing that . I just found my attachments how bad is that . Love the picture though . I would like to see a cameo of that picture just wondering how that would look .

That is just to funny you hiding :lau

:highfive: If that's the way you work, we could probably build well together. :D

Howdy. I've been swamped at work, not on much during the days now. :(

Move the eggs to a separate location away from the rest of the flock and put one hen on the eggs
Leave the broody move the rest

I think I will. They are supposed to be hatching on Friday. I just built them a new coop and run, so I think I will move them there. The coop is much larger, and I will have many more nesting boxes. The run is larger also. What they are in now is a bit small. I had it for them when they were still little. They have gotten so big these last couple of months.
Twenty weeks fly by . We all think the same thing I got plenty of time :lau

The rain has been moderate this year, but the humidity has been very high lately. The flowers are becoming covered in black inky specks. It was just the flowers at first, now it is moving to the actual vegetables. I have had a total of about 7 start growing nicely (I planted them late this year, so they are just starting to produce). I have only been able to harvest one zucchini and one squash. The rest are starting to shrivel up and die before they are even fully grown. Good for him! What does he do with all of his pumpkins?
Fuzzy black spots ? We're losing plants to that too. Try to keep the squash fruit uncovered and in full sun. Squashes do much better when planted on a mound six inches higher than the rest of the garden .Because they produce such large leaves mold and mildew are always a problem in wet years . When you plant a large garden you should make two squash beds as far apart as you can and stager the planting times by a couple of weeks or more .

I might. It has started to becime very annoying. I don't have any roosters, so I went and bought those eggs. It cost me twenty dollars for eight eggs. If both chicks hatch, it will have cost me ten dollars a chick. I would have been better off getting a few chicks and introducing them to her early in the morning.

That's good. I would love to have a large garden, but I was unable to have one this year. I have six tomato plants, two squash plants, and two zucchini plants. This has been one if my smaller gardens. I love to have a large flourishing piece of land filled with fruits and vegetables.
All organic and the taste you just can't beat home grown . And even if I only get a few I'm happy .

Yeah, Black vultures hunt. Ate two of my POL Speckled Sussex except the drum sticks. Fussy i guess.
They used to eat the ears and tails off the baby pigs we'ed shoot one and lay it on a fence post that kept the others away . Now you kill them and get caught it's a big fine .:he
