We drink it, I make soft cheeses, fudge. That sort of thing! When I had a larger herd I sold herd shares and a few customers. It was fun but a lot of work!

Right now we only have 1 goat in milk, and she produces over a gallon a day.... lots of milk to keep up with.

How many eggs is not prolific?


No, we sold them because from July to January, so seven months, we got maybe two or three dozen eggs out of 20 pullets.

Well, mine have given me only about 30 eggs at all this year. Some of that was probably unhappiness from their run situation, but they're pretty sporadic and they do brood a lot.
